Joining the Council

The Honor System Council anticipates two to four vacancies for the 2009-2010 academic year. Applications for these positions are now being accepted.

A copy of the application is available here. It is due to Dr. John Rasp, Honor System faculty advisor, no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1. It may be submitted at his office (526A Lynn Business Center) or via email (jrasp@stetson.edu). A recommendation from a faculty or staff member is due with the application.

All applicants will meet with the selection committee on Friday, April 3, 12:00-1:00 p.m., in the DeLand Hall Boardroom. At this meeting we will discuss two hypothetical academic integrity cases, similar to those typically encountered by the Council. Materials on these cases will be made available in advance to applicants.

The selection committee consists of Stephanie Ryan (Honor System Council president, as chair), Drew Glasnovich (SGA president), Thad Joseph (university judicial officer), and Dr. John Rasp (Council faculty advisor).
